By taking the Bodhisattva Vows, we move a step closer to becoming a true friend of the world and developing a mind that radiates happiness. Engaging in the simple and beautiful practice of the bodhisattvas way of life brings great meaning and joy into our life. Everyone is welcome to attend, the cost for the ceremony and talk is £5. There is no need to book, please just come along.
Purify our Mind, Vajrasattva empowerment and retreat
Saturday April 24th - Empowerment, teachings & meditations 10.30-5pm
Sunday April 25th - Guided retreat 10.30-5pm
Like a sky free from clouds, by removing negative potentials from our mind, the natural purity of our mind will shine through. All the problems and difficulties we experience in our daily life, as well as obstacles to our spiritual practice arise from our negative karma. Receiving the blessing empowerment of Buddha Vajrasattva - the Buddha of purification - and by engaging in the special purification practices we can liberate our mind from negative karma and gradually enter a positive and fresh new world.
Gen Kelsang Nyingpo will be granting the empowerment of Buddha Vajrasattva and guiding meditations so that we can gain a deep experience of this practice.
